“An amazing dining experience at Huncho House. The food was absolutely fabulous, and the customer service was top notch. Everyone at the restaurant was so nice to us as we celebrated my wife's birthday. Chef Tobias even surprised my wife and came by to say hello and take photos. Highly recommend this awesome restaurant!!”
“I visited Huncho House this evening & when I say WOW! From walking in and being greeted with a complimentary glass champagne from the GM Melissa I was already beyond impressed. I sat at the Chef’s s table which was worth every cent. I got to see Chef Tobias and his team create greatness! I ordered a few lemon drops the bartender Ebony is amazing, I specifically came for the Chef special menu that made its debut today and runs through the end of the week I saw this on IG I suggest you follow @hunchohousemd to see weekly specials. I had the Crispy Wonton Tacos & Rasta Pasta when I say my eyes literally rolled in the back of my head Huncho House is IT!”
“I had an incredible dining experience at Huncho House in Maryland! From the moment I walked in, I felt special — being greeted with a glass of champagne was such a classy and welcoming touch that set the tone for the evening.
The standout dish was the oxtail lasagna (limited item) — rich, savory, and full of bold, comforting flavors. I also enjoyed the Caesar salad, which was fresh and perfectly dressed, a crisp complement to the rest of the meal.
But the real star? The chargrilled oysters. They melted in my mouth like butter and were incredibly flavorful — easily some of the best I’ve ever had.
From the warm hospitality to the unforgettable food, Huncho House delivered a top-tier experience. I’ll definitely be back!”
“For date night, we pulled up to Huncho House—a Black-owned gem bringing nothing but good vibes. 💫 The food? Straight fire. The service? On point. Yeah, the prices are on the higher side, but honestly…we had a good time.
Our server nailed it, and the dishes came out fast—no endless waits, just pure flavor and good energy all night long. If I had to nitpick, the space was a little tight, but it didn’t stop us from having a great time.
Definitely a spot to keep on your must-visit list-It.”

“Travelers experience was well worth the drive and money. I was celebrating my birthday weekend by visiting Downtown D.C and staying in the Maryland area for a mini vacation. Huncho House was on my bucket list to visit and to support black owned business. All I can say is it did not miss , the restaurant was everything I expected. It is small on the inside , that’s the only downside. Like you are sitting really close to your neighbors. The ambience was so sophisticated stylish. The staff was very kind upon entering the restaurant you get complimentary wine to taste. The food is super yummy and flavorful. Very expensive but I expected that because I reviewed the menu prior. Everything on the menu I heard was good , it was hard to narrow down. So if you in the area go visit and support black business.”

“Holy moly, this place is the real deal. From beginning to end it was an amazing experience. Wife grabbed the deviled eggs to start and I ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls. For the main course I ordered the jerk short ribs and my wife got the 10oz filet that was cooked to perfection. The mixed drinks didn’t disappoint and I can’t wait to get back to Huncho House.”
“So we went to Huncho House for our 10-year anniversary on Friday night. Honestly, the food was really good overall, though I've gotta say, some of it was a little over-seasoned. But hey, I guess that just comes down to personal taste.
We kicked things off with the deviled eggs, and the bacon jam they used was a seriously great touch. That appetizer was a hit.
For mains, we ordered the lobster ravioli and the Hawaiian ribeye steak.
The steak came out perfectly cooked—exactly the temp I asked for, which is a big relief when you're shelling out $65 for it. But the ravioli was kind of a letdown. It was basically just regular cheese ravioli with a lobster sauce poured over it, not actually filled with lobster meat like I expected.
My final thought? The prices are pretty high for what they offer and especially for where the place is located—that was a bit of a surprise. It was good, but maybe a little too expensive for the overall experience.
I was a little dissapointed by the front of House, the table wobbled and when they called to confirm my reservation there was no mention of the AC being broken which made the beginning of the meal a bit uncomfortable.
We spent about 180 with no alcohol.”
